Again, the far-left media and radical liberals have performed the disgraceful. Sure, it should never surprise us, but it remains necessary to call these plunderers of decency to task for their shameful actions. What I am talking about is the media's obsession with trying to damage the credibility of the Republican Vice-Presidential nominee, Sarah Palin. I won't dignify these dregs of society by addressing the issues they are attempting to make major campaign issues. One thing should be obvious to all intelligent voters, that is, when candidates and their accomplices have no issues to run on, they reduce themselves to the depths of attacking other candidates on personal and private issues that have absolutely nothing to do with the position they are running on. It should be apparent to all, the following quote from an unknown author, “It isn't necessary to blow out the other person's light to let your own shine” But, they unlikely have any light to shine anyway.
I aggravated myself today, watching CNN. The reporter went on and on lamenting the supposed lack of political experience of Mrs. Palin and trying to compare her experience with that of Joe Biden. Of course, I've already heard from these despicable "reporters" of various nonsense about her children. Now her experience? I can only assume that they're assuming that this topic will have less backlash. Forgetting Joe Biden for a moment, she certainly has tremendous more leadership experience than Obama. How they can dig at Sarah Palin's supposed lack of political experience when their own PRESIDENTIAL candidate has ZERO ... is a ZERO? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Is it OK to have a President with NO experience but not OK to have a former governor because she supposedly lacks experience?
Enough of all that. I've always been astonished by even supposed "pro-lifers" problems with my position on the sanctity of life. Some have told me that I make too much of an issue about it. Previously, when seeking the endorsement of Louisiana's Libertarian Party (along with that of the Constitution Party), they expressed concerns of my position on abortion, which they felt that I placed too much emphasis on. While I was disappointed with their demeanor on that issue, I was more puzzled that they were the ones putting more emphasis on that issue. Anyone reviewing my issues section will quickly see that I am NOT a one-issue candidate. I was pleased and proud to receive the endorsement of the Constitution Party of Louisiana. They too have a with NO APOLOGIES recognition that the life of the not yet born child is created in God's Image, is a human being, and certainly deserves the same protections of government that you and I receive.
Regardless of my other problems with John McCain's historical record, I cannot criticize him on his selection of Sarah Palin for Vice-President. While it is certainly questionable why, between 2000 and 2006, when the supposed "pro-life" GOP controlled the entire federal government, neither McCain or the Republican Party did NOTHING to overturn Roe v. Wade, when they could have. They could have supported Dr. Ron Paul's Sanctity of Life Act (effectively overturning Roe v. Wade and ending Abortion on Demand,) but, neither McCain or the Republican Party would have anything to do with it. Again, however, I applaud his choice of Sarah Palin.
What does Sarah Palin really stand for? She is uncompromising pro-life. Her respect for the dignity of human life is obviously, and should certainly be foremost in every voter's mind when voting. One thing we can be certain of, is, if a politician is unwilling to protect the life of the innocent not yet born, what makes you think he really cares about you? Both Obama and Biden are clear that the have no regard for the not yet born child and unyieldingly support putting them in the ridiculous category of "choice."
John McCain, I must applaud your choice of Sarah Palin.
